Once Innovations obtains ETL Listing for AgriShift® PL Poultry Lights.

PLYMOUTH, MN, May 2, 2011 – Minnesota-based LED technology developer Once Innovations (ONCE) has received ETL Listing for its AgriShift® PL Poultry Light, certifying it as meeting U.L. and C.S.A. safety standards. The ETL Listed mark is evidence to customers and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) that a product conforms to applicable standards and that there is a program of ongoing factory inspections.

“These are not ordinary LED lamps you might find in a home kitchen or office setting,” stated Michael Ostaffe, Executive Vice President for ONCE. “They’re heavy-duty, designed to withstand harsh poultry barn conditions for years, and provide light output specifically suited for poultry vision.”

Mr. Ostaffe further indicated that ETL Listing should make it easier for poultry farmers to obtain energy efficiency rebates offered by electrical cooperatives or government agencies when they upgrade to AgriShift LED lighting.
