ONCE INNOVATIONS EXPANDS LINE OF POULTRY-SPECIFIC LAMPS: INTRODUCES AGRISHIFT LED FEED LIGHT

PLYMOUTH, MN - LED lighting manufacturer, Once Innovations, Inc. (ONCE) has added a feed lamp to its line of AgriShift™ LED Poultry Lights. The new AgriShift FL promotes feeding activity at control pans to help assure consistent feed distribution. The lamp consists of an LED light engine module that is gasket-sealed to a standard dead-end conduit body. Each control pan lamp is rated for 50,000 hours which is up to four times that of CFLs and up to thirty times that of incandescent bulbs.

“The lamp is easily installed to an electrical box of an existing feed distribution motor,” said Zdenko Grajcar, ONCE CEO. “In addition to being a very economical source of light, the spectral distribution of the AgriShift FL light closely mimics the color sensitivity of poultry – fluorescent, incandescent, and HID lamps do not. Since the luminous efficacy, or lumens per watt, is optimized for poultry, the birds perceive maximum light intensity for minimal power cost.”
