AgriShift FL is an LED feed lamp that installs easily in minutes to any electrical box of an existing feed distribution motor. Each lamp provides directional light output equivalent to a 25-watt incandescent bulb while using only three watts of input power.
The lamp itself consists of an LED light engine module that is gasket-sealed to a standard dead end conduit body. Each feed lamp is rated for 50,000 hours – four times longer than CFLs and 30 times longer than incandescent bulbs.
In addition to being a very economical source of light, the spectral distribution (wavelengths) of the AgriShift FL light closely mimics the color sensitivity of poultry – fluorescent, incandescent, and HID lamps do not. Since the luminous efficacy (lumens per watt) is optimized for poultry, birds perceive maximum light intensity at a minimal power cost.
